I'm looking into replacing my HU with something a little more versatile.
I have done a lot of reading online, and I can't seem to decide.

I'm hoping some of you have done this and can give me a few pointers!

My budget is around $800 and I don't mind buying a used HU.

The important features I'm looking for are ;

- Navigation (preferably Garmin)
- iPhone Compatibility (bluetooth? for handsfree calls)
- something that looks half decent with the rest of my interior (red interface?)

Looks like I can get a Kenwood 7120 which seems to have good nav, and bluetooth for about $600 on eBay.. any other suggestions?

Is installation going to be expensive?

As you can probably tell, I know little to nothing about Car Audio, so bear with me... and thanks in advance for any help!

 

The 7120 doesn't have bluetooth, $600 is a good deal for that unit. If you are looking for something that will give a red background you can use the dnx 5120, you can change the background colors to any color.
