Default A4 (2006 B7) Speaker setup

Does anyone know where I could find info on the Symphony II stereo system in the 2006 A4 B7 platform. This is the lower grade stereo system. I'm looking for speaker location, wattage, amplifiers, etc. The audi website sucks so I couldn't find anything there.

You could try asking on AW if you haven't already. Might also be a good idea to go to a dealer and ask them (maybe at the parts department if you don't trust the salespeople) too.

Hey,
Im a salesman in Toronto and can help with questions like these. I'm 25 so im learning but honestly these cars are amazing! i have access to amazing tools where i got the following information.

Audi Concert Radio
The Audi Concert AM/FM radio with an in-dash single-disc CD player (with MP3 capability on TT models) is standard on the A3 2.0 T and TT 2.0 TFSI Coupe and TT Roadster models and has the following features:

RBDS (Radio Broadcast Display System) that displays radio station call letters and other information.
GALA (Graduated Audio Level Adjustment) that varies the volume based on vehicle speed (feature deactivated with Bose AudioPilot).
CD changer operation capability. The A3 and TT models have CD changer pre-wiring to accommodate the addition of a six-disc CD changer.
Standard Speaker Systems:

The A3 has a 140-watt sound system with a total of 10 speakers.
The TT 2.0 TFSI has a 140-watt sound system with a total of 9 speakers.
Audi Symphony Radio
The incredible third-generation Audi Symphony radio has an AM/FM/Sirius Satellite radio with more channel memory preset capabilities than the previous version: 18 FM, 18 AM and 21 satellite radio. The in-dash, six-disc CD changer now has MP3 reading capability, so it can play CDs encoded with MP3s. Also new is a phase-diversity antenna for improved reception for both AM and FM bands.

Other features of the Symphony radio system include:

Graduated Audio Level Adjustment (GALA) varies the volume based on vehicle speed (feature deactivated with Bose AudioPilot).
RDS (Radio Display System) that displays radio station call letters and other information
Autostore function that automatically selects the strongest 6 AM and 6 FM stations in the area
Random mode for individual CDs as well as entire CD changer
A feature that allows the radio to play for an hour without the key, then the radio turns off automatically to prevent battery drain
The third-generation Audi Symphony radio is:

Standard on A3 3.2 models and optional on A3 2.0 T models
Standard on A4 models
Standard on RS 4 models
Standard on S4 models
Standard on TT 3.2 quattro and optional on TT 2.0 TFSI
Standard Speaker Systems:

A3: 10 speakers
A4 Sedan/Avant: 10 speakers
S4 Sedan/Avant: 10 speakers
RS 4: 10 speakers
A4/S4 Cabriolet: 9 speakers
TT: 9 speakers
