Default S4 pedals for heel & toe

I have a B7 S4 and would like to make it more heel and toe friendly. As it is the accelerator pedal is 1.5" below the brake pedal even after the brake is depressed (as you wold H&T). Then the accelerator is quite curved making the problem even worse. Frankly this is one of the worse setups I have seen in a sporty car. I had no problem H&T an RS4 on the Nurburgring last year, but this S4 geometry is very different.

Aftermarket pedals will not raise the accel pedal, achieving the required geometry. So I need to build up the accel pedal, then add a wider pedal face to get the accel pedal a little closer to the brake. I can do this but thought that someone else may know another solution.

thanks

Im wondering the same thing about my B5 S4. The gas pedal is too low and narrow. So even under hard braking you cant slide your foot over far enough. I think widening the gas pedal would solve the problem and make heel and toe possible under hard braking.
Has anyone found any aftermarket pedal spacers?

Own a B5 S4. Had no problem heel and toeing with the OEM pedals, though after installing the AWE pedals, it was a little easier. Start stretching your ankles, boys

Doesn't pressing the brake temporarily shut off the fuel supply? (b6 and newer I believe)

Yeah, I was just thinking and remembered that it's the drive by wire setup(2000 and newer), my 99 A4 doesn't shut off.

Here is what I did and the result is just what I wanted. This was the first mod I did and I had forgotten all about it. lol

These are the pedals I started with because I had them lying around. I ditched the brake and clutch momo's and just used the gas pedal cover.

I also ditched the crap mounting brackets. I re-arced the contour of the momo pedal to fit the audi pedal. Using a propane torch to warm the pedal and a body hammer and dolly I formed the pedal cover.

I then painted the gas cover black. I cleaned the mating surfaces and applied 3M two sided tape. Then fastened it cover down with two self tapping Stainless steel screws. Works like a charm.

Drive by wire or not, you can still heel and toe. I own an 01.5 S4 and have no problems heel and toeing all day long. If you ride the brake while your on the gas, yes it kills the fuel. It only does that when you're on the gas AND on the brake continuously. For blips...it's like any other car.
