2003 S4 - constant fan running!
Hi,
Can anyone shed any light on this?
The fans on my 2003 S4 (B6) run constantly as soon as the ignition is switched on (i.e. engine not yet started) and also run for approx 10-15 minutes after the engine is switched off.
The car is not overheating whilst I am driving it and all air-con functions are working OK.
VAG.COM returns the following fault:
"18080 - Coolant Fan Control 1: Open or Short to Ground
P1672 - 004 - No Signal/Communication"
Is this the J293/Fan Control Unit I need to replace - or should I investigate the other connections & relays? and if so - how do I go about that!
All help / advice appreciated!
