Default CVevilT

My CVT will start flashing the PRND for a few miles then suddenly stop without leaving me a code. Any ideas other that punt the CVT?

Default Avant rear window broke

Parked my car and rear window in Avant shattered. I live in rural area, so it would appear the window blew on it's own. Has anyone had similar experience. 2007 Avant.

Default Bubble in Rocker Panel

My 2004 A4 Avant has several fingernail sized bubbles developing in the panel at the very bottom of the front door. One is the size of half a grape. The panel is a bolt on plastic piece so it they aren't rust bubbles. One appeared several years ago and now 3 more have appeared. When I showed them to the Audi service writer he appeared confused but quickly said " they aren't covered by the rust through warranty" . He has their body shop manager looking at them next week.
Has anyone had this problem or woould venture a guess as to origion??????
Doug

Default "ESP Fault!" when just accessing ABS controller via vag-com

Hey guys,
I plugged in my vag-com and did an auto-scan and on the intrument cluster it said "ESP Fault!". It happens when I just access the controller manually as well. No faults are coming up from it though so it's weird.
Any advice/recommendations? Is this normal?

Default Outside temperature guage

Hi, not sure if anyone has seen this or how I adjust it. I have a 2007 A4 Cabriolet, when the top is up I have the temperature guage displaying in Celcius (live in Canada). When I put the top down, it changes the display to Farenheit?

Why and how can I stop it from doing that?

thanks.

Default Temp gauge

hey all,

does anyone else's temp gauge stay on zero the whole time? mine occasionally moves but rarely stays in the mid temp range.

Got a A4 3.0 Quattro, is this usual?

cheers

Default Re: Temp gauge

the gauge in mine used to go up to 90 then drop to zero it would just float alover the place and never give a true reading.
the temp sensor in the engine bay is the problem i had mine fixed for free at the dealer there was an extended warrenty on the 02 a4 3.0 that i have.
10 years 150000kms.
the temp sensor is part of the emmission control system that was the reason for extension
if you need any more info i can dig out the letter from audi and pm you some more info
