Well, im in the process of making a custom intake for my B5 1.8T and i noticed that there is a plastic hose going to the front of the air box, and i believe it leads to the secondary air injection pump. I want to put a breather filter on that hose that goes to the pump and im pretty sure it should all work fine, but i want to make sure. Would putting a breather filter there work or would it mess something up. I dont want to ruin my cat

I have an Audi A4 2003 .The cigarette lighter has no voltage neither is there voltage at the either side of the plug . Ground is ok . The fuse is ok. So there is an interruption between the plug and fuse box.

!.Is there any other connector between those 2 points?
2. Is this wiring routed anywhere outside or strictly inside the hull? The reason for this question, we have pack rats going under cars and shewing on wires .I have a sport package so it is hard to inspect
Any advise?

Previous owner put in the ditch, by the looks of it I'll need a front lower left control arm, sway bar link, and a spindle assembly.

I have found the control arm and link easily and fairly cheap. But any advice where I can find a spindle(or are they called something else?) Or even used in Canada?

It's a 96 Quattro V6 btw.

Hello all, wonderful forum.

Where is a good place to get my 1996 A4 checked out. I was driving and then noticed the AC was not cooling well enough and then saw the engine temp soar, the red caution light came on, got off the highway and the car started to over heat. Limped back home took about 1 min and have parked it since. I'm in
the Toronto / Markham area.
I took a look at the belts with what limited visual access i had and pushed on some of the belts and they were all present. So i'm guessing it's a waterpump.
Oh yeah forgot to mention that the car boiled over and the coolant just evaporated.

Is this gonna be costly? if so what's a good estimate and who is a trusted wrench in my neck of the woods?
