well i dont know what year your car is , and i didnt mean a retract motor . my car had auto leveling headlights . i was just guessing. maybe 1 of ur hid's is dieing. do your headlights look the same colour?

i too have an indicator for lights on my dash....its the green icon and shows both head lights....it may have to do with the sensors that are out for oncoming traffic!

The green icon is an indicator when your lights are on, I have that as well. This is a yellow icon looks like a standard house light bulb with a cross going through it.

Little green light on the dasboard is normal in cars with DRLs (Canada is manadatory): the light tells the driver that the Daytime Running LIghts are on!!!

The yellow light icon in the center console tells you that there is a light failure on the initial check-up of the ssytem (when you turn the car on the system is being interogated and if something comes back a failure to initialize it will show you on the console.

If you miss the short little description (1-2 seconds) then you must push either the "wrench" or the CHECK" button (I forgot which) and it will tell you what the errror is with a location of the offending device or ligh and its position, in the case of a light bulb!

junk yards. Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market for the stock ones. as for the RS4....ya its going to cost you regardless of where you get it.
