What are your goals? Just make it shiny? need to get rid of swirls, defects? water beading? How long it lasts?

Hi
Well of course like everyone else, I would like to get it shiny
But also I want to have maximum protection for the paint, as well as being able to hide some small defects-- if there is a product that does all these things I would definitely like to buy it
I have used Nufinish and a Turtle Wax product previously
thx

check out Autopia on detailing. Everyone has products that they prefer so you'll get a variety of answers but....those ones you mentioned aren't the greatest.

I personally have used Zaino and love it! Depending on where you live you may have to order it online and it's pricey also. The process is a little longer too.

If you want to just go to Walmart or Crappy Tire, I would suggest Meguiar's Tech Wax 2.0.

-So give the car a nice wash with Dawn soap.
- Claybar your car
-Wash again
- Apply Wax

(that should be it)

For myself, I love detailing so it would probably be a lot longer with polishing.

Thanks for the reply
Checked out Zaino and some reviews of the product -- it sounds impressive
I think I will definitely give it a try

Default Low whirring noise when turning left

Hi all,

Let's say I'm on the highway doing about 75mph and the road curves left as I'm in that left curve I hear a low pitched whirring noise in my front end and it always goes away when I straighten the car out. I don't get this noise when I'm in a right turn. Could this be a sign that my CV joints are starting to wear out???? There's no clicking noise and I don't feel any vibration on the steering wheel or any of the pedals sooooo I'm abit confused as to what it can be. Does anyone know what this could be???

Thanks

Whatever u gonna use uyou'll get shiny paint.
I recomended turtle wax paste ( $10)or spray turtle wax platinium ($15) 'cause:
- my experience on body shop
- great product
- easy to use it
- great effect from paste
- good price

If it's u first time with wax read how to use correctly to get shiny efect
From my experience the best is paste, longer time to put and polish but the best effect and protection u paint from water for long time.
Of course u can buy better profesional paste if u need it but depends how old is u paint on u car.

Cheers
Matt

Nope but I'll do it right now. Question though... How would that create the noise? Keep in mind that the noise is present while I'm in the turn, not when turning the steering wheel.
