1.8T - Modshack VTDA, MOFO, 4-Bar FPR
#1
SOLD! 1.8T - Modshack VTDA, ****, 4-Bar FPR
Everything is sold!
These are all for a 225 TT, but will fit any car if you have the right MAF diameter (3"). Obviously, you can put a reducer on if your MAF is not 3".
Prices:
VTDA with brand-new specified filter - $175
**** - $100
4-bar FPR - $20
Description:
This is the VTDA with the carbon fibre overlay! I bought it from a fellow AudiWorld'er and he ripped me off by sending it with a completely useless filter; I bought a new one for $70 since I wasn't about to pass the BS on. The filter has 0 miles - I can send it unoiled, or oil it for you with K&N oil. The VTDA is a great mod that does have some mild performance benefits (I can provide links/data) to go along with the great sound. The sound is not overly loud and ricey, but still more aggressive than stock. I purchased another VTDA for my TT while I was waiting for the back-ordered spec filter to come in (5 weeks!)
The **** increases airflow by about 11%, and the 4-bar FPR is used to increase the fueling to compensate for the additional airflow. I wanted to keep these on my car, but where I'm going with my tuning they won't be ideal.
Cheers!
