Re: 90s Engine dies??
It is called Idle Air Control Valve actually.
Have the same 95' 90S fwd 5spd.
I was trying to fix something one day and took out the
battery (the wrong way of course) my computer got
some bad codes in it. And the just started dying on me
every time. First thing the mechanic checked was that IACV.
But then it turned out to be okay. They reset my computer
and everything started working fine. So my suggestion to you is...
go reset your computer before you blow it up. Hope this helps.
