84 audi 4000 S starter motor replacement problem
Hello,
I am replacing the starter motor in my 84 Audi, 4000 S - I cannot get the
top bolt on the starter motor to move, it is in a very awkard place, I
litterally have about 1" of swing for the socket wrench. The car is up on a
ramp, about 8" off the ground so I am on my back putting the socket wrench
thur the area where the front wheel axle comes thru. I can't get any
leverage on the handle.
Is there a better way to do it (other than taking it to a mechanic...) ?
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks

longer extensions and a flex joint/socket with a longer breaker bar to a more
open spot!
have fun!
