Does the 2.8V6 30V engine have any known 'weaknesses'? If yes, which
are its weaknesses or high cost maintenance items? What mileage can be
expected (under normal circumstances, normal driving + good
maintenance), give or take 20,000 miles. Is a life expectancy of
200,000 miles realistic?

Of course, we all know people that smoke and still live, but we also
know that smoking is a health hazard. I am fully aware of that, I only
want to know if there is a common denominator, a design flaw, something
that clearly could be improved in this engine, as far as
reliability/long term cost of ownership is concerned.

Oil leaks from the head gaskets is the only pervasive issue I've heard
of.
