Well, it’s finally happening
I am putting my 1993 Audi S4 up for sale.
This is not just any Audi S4, it was bought in Germany brand new in 1993.
It was then driven for a few months on vacation then shipped back to Canada.
It is one of only a few Audi S4’s that were built for the European market that are in North America and the only known one in Canada.
It comes with every available option and retailed for over $50,000.00 when new in 1993
Below are some of the options:
5 cylinder 2.2l engine, Turbo, Quatro, 5 speed standard, Full power package, 6 disk CD changer, Alarm, heated seats, personal keyless entry that adjusts seats and mirrors depending on the key used.
Comes with a complete set of snow tires on rims.
It has had a new chip put in the computer to boost the horse power to 300hp.
It has the original famous “Pearl White” Audi paint job that is in great condition.
Though it has high miles it has been fully maintained and drives like a new car.
It comes complete with all the original manuals for the car and stereo.
This is a very rare car and will only increase in value over the next few years.

 

what happend to the euro bumpers did they get lost on the way over what about the tail lights dissapeared too
truely its not a eurospec anymore

 

I don't know about Euro Bumper kits or tail lights but I do know the history of the car.
I am friends of the original owners who had it barged from Europe.
It is totally as bought in Germany.

 

Just talked to the person who is appraising the car and he said something about in the year 1993 Audi put the same bumpers on both North American and European cars. This is apparently the only year they did it. He is getting me the information and I will post it up here.

 

Keep in mind it is also possible to buy a Canadian spec car in Europe and have it shipped back to North America such as the previous owner did. The easy check is to open the drivers door and see what certification sticker is in the door jamb. If this is indeed a Canadian spec car it will have a Canadian DOT approval sticker with a maple leaf on it. If it is a German spec car it will have a German approval sticker. If you look at the headlights then would have DOT stamped in them for North American or E3 or E4 for a European car.

There were many bumpers used on these cars, the Canadian bumpers are 5 mph crash bumpers and American bumpers look the same but they are only rated for 2.5 mph. You can also check on http://forums.audiworld.com/forumdisplay.php?f=25 and see if UrS4boy answers, I don't think there is anything UrS4 related that he doesn't know.

It's just a NA car. They never came with this bumper and the taillights.
Back in Germany i had 2 Audi S4 (93 and 94) and both never had this bumper
and this Taillights (German license plate won't fit).

nevermind the fact that the price is out of this world. Better have a built motor and a big giant turbo on it for $9000.
