Default Car wax

Hey all,

I just picked up my A5 competition last weekend. I didn't go with the Xzilon application from the dealership so I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions as to which wax works great with the metallic paint.

Thanks!

I have a co-worker that did the e-shine opti-coat treatment 3-4 months ago on his new Scuba Blue 2013 A4. The effect is really nice.

I am looking forward to see the results this winter and next year but the reviews are pretty good on the longevity of this product.

I have a 2012 A5 S-line in Phantom Black Pearl and recently clayed the car then applied Wolfgang High Gloss Polymer sealant. The finish is like a black mirror. Incredibly clear. I then added Carnuba. The Sealant last much longer than straight wax. Bugs wash off very easily. Check out the Wolfgang Twins on their site for details. I bought mine from E-shine.ca to avoid shipping cost from the US. You should check out a sit called Autogeek. It has lots of great info.
