I have a strange rubbing noise coming from front end (sounds like passenger side), i then found out my front pads were over 70% worn, which i have now changed, rubbing noise now comes and goes, anyone else having similar problems and what was the fix?, got mot in july and seriously worried that noise may make it fail. Help !!!

Well, it kind of comes and goes, like yesterday soon as i pulled off, it was making the strange noise, but on way to work this morning not a sound....., its a 10 plate a3 and i want it to pass its mot in july.
