Acceleration issue in low gears - 2009 A6 3.2
Recentl purchased a pre-owned 2009 3.2 L A6 with only 53k on it. The car is in a fantastic shape with warranty still remaining on it
noticed that as i start the car and am getting out of parking lot or am just waiting behind the red light, around 1000-1500 RPM, just as i am taking off the car jerks a bit as if it is stalling due to early release of a clutch. This car is automatic. I took it to dealership and same thing happened as i was showing it to the dealer. they ended up identifying the problem as leaking fuel injectors. they replaced all six of them but the problem still remains. i am hesitant to take the car in the same Audi dealership as they are never sure about this issue and have messed up few other things in my car (MMI issue that wasn't really an issue).
I have been searching on line and it looks like i am not the only one facing this issue. I have read about A6 models from 2005 having similar issue but no one has put a proper follow up message as to if they got it fixed or not.
I am hoping someone can help me addressing the issue. i have booked myself for another visit to a different Audi dealership in January 2013.
thanks for reading and hope to hear a direction from someone here.

Re: Acceleration issue in low gears - 2009 A6 3.2
Ok update on the diagnosis.
it seems that this was similar issue that 2008/9 A3s (CVT engines) had before. they changed the transmission oil which didn't resolve the issue. ultimately they came to the conclusion that the Mechatronic unit needs to be replaced. this is the brain of the transimission in civilian language.
the cost of repair is $3500-4000 and they have to order it from Germany.
luckily i am covered by my warranty on this.
we will see when it is replaced if it improves the issue. based on my previous search anyone else who has done this has been happy with the end result and the car operates much smoother.
