Default 2004 Audi A6 S-line

Hey guys,

Im trying to understand my car and the technology of turbo charged engines especially on my audi.

Can you please tell me how long someone would usually wait to cool off the engine before turning it off when driving at highway speeds?

And we are soon in cold weather and minus temperatures, is 3 minutes good enough to heat up the engine before kicking it in early morning?

Also, how often is it good to replace the engine oil?

Thanks!

Learned from the guys on here:

- After a hard run or after the highway, I usually wait 2-3 minutes, so good time to put any valuables away, maybe give the dash a wipe, or a walk around, just to pass the time.
- In cold weather I let it idle for 3 minutes and just take my time and drive 'nice' until the engine heats up.
- I change my oil every 5000-7500km, using synthetic.

Oh and I forgot to add that I tested that beast on the highway against a BMW 335i convertible.

I tought that the beast would be blocked at 209km/h but I found out that its not..MOUUUU hehehe

The beamer was behind me the whole time at 250km/h. What a god damnt feeling.

Anyways, God bless Audi nation LOL.

Hahaha, yea they are awesome cars. It is fun to 'let loose' that is for sure. I have scared myself a few times. But these cars will kill your bank account if they need fixing. I say have fun, but in moderation.

Great cars, for sure.
