Working on my custom exaust (pic's/ sounds)
So i started cutting up the stock exaust, a little nerve racking, because of the tight spaces, but it went okay.
sorry for the bad images was from iphone.

indeed. I wanted to do same thing but just run a pipe instead of cat back. I hear it might run to rich and the green smoke will definitely get you pulled over and ticketed.

yes its loud when open, sounds like and r8 v10 or lambo (turbos sounds amazing!), but when its closed it sounds like a normal A6, it a very tough job, there hardly any room to put them in, unless you remove the cat's. my cats are still in but its a very tight fit.
Next time i have it on the lift ill get a pick of it finished

This is actually the most brilliant thing i have ever seen! This actually might be my choice! just wondering if you could post the parts you used that would be awesome. And anther thing, is there any fumes coming out that are noticeably odd coloured or smelling?
Another thing, where did you do your job, did you rent a pace or something?

Re: Working on my custom exaust (pic's/ sounds)
I did it my self, i have a shop with a lift. I used:
</title> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="zstyle.css" /> </head> <body> <table width="100%" align="center"> <tr> <td width="100%" align="center"> <div class="main"> <div style="width:100%; background-image: url(stylepics/gotss.jpg); paddi
1x wireless controller, because i didnt want to mount any switches in the car.
2x stainless steal down pipes
2x 2.5" custom e-cutouts
2x 2.5" custom y-adapters
i welded everything exept the part where it bolts to the car, i used some stainless steal u clamps from crappy tire, and a couple reducers from them also.
total cost me about 500$ and about 5 hours of work.
i havent noticed any coloured fumes, and the only time i smell anything is when you have the valves open when your warming up the car (you should have them closed when warming up), but nothing once its warmed up.

I found this guy to be the best price, and he knows what hes talking about.

Did it becuase i could
plus i wanted the coolest sounding car around, with the option of stock
drag racing cost to much, plus the lack of time
sounds amazing!
and i do notice a bit of power up, but better trottle response and spoolup.
i cant seem to post my sound clip, but this guy has open headers just like mine is when there open
