Default Liftgate trim removal

I'm trying to remove the trim from the liftgate because my key mechanism has seized and I want to remove/repair it.

However, the removal of the interior trim is causing the challenge. I've removed two screws, one from the handle and the other one under the emergency triangle. The clips have been separated from the liftgate. The window roller shade seems to be screwed into the liftgate and I can't access the screws. This is all that is holding back the removal of the lower piece of trim.

Anyone done this before and removed it all successfully?

I have a 2001 C5 A6 Avant.
