Default 98 audi A6 dies then restarts by itself.

Hi there. I am new to this forum. I have a 97 A6 (98 model in USA) 2.8l that I am having a few issues with. Firstly it really stuggles to start. It takes about 1min to start when cold and idles badly for a while before it comes right. When hot it takes about 30 secs to start. Also when driving the vehicle when hot, at about 100km per hour the vehicle will just loose all power as if it stalled. It is a smooth stall and doesnt shudder. I have to push the accelerator on a few times before it re-kicks by itself and drives fine for another 10pm or so then does it again. All the dashboard lights show up.

I have recently replaced the fuel pump, MAF sensor and cleaned the throttle body. Vag codes that come are:
Engine
18010
17967
17973
16486
00561
01088

Trans
18265
00526

Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Simon

I would check the Audi Bentley manual for those codes. Also, the Vag-Com computer should also have a brief description of what the issues are alongside each code.
