Timing belt failure help!

Timing belt failure help!
Hello everyone,
New to audiforums here and I live in Toronto. So I've had my A4 B8 for 4 years now and my timing failed, checked using OBD11, i couldn't fire it up at all. Fixing at a shop would cost 4500 min. What should i do at this point? Are there any current lawsuit claims?
2010 A4 B8 Quattro
2.0T TFSI
180000km
Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Timing belt failure help!
Hi Ronald,
I have a 2014 A4 with 175,000 Kms - I am debating to keep the car or trade it for a newer one. So far I havent have any issues with the car, but i am afraid the closer i get to the 200,000 Kms mark - issues will appear. Other than your timing belt - had you had any other issues - how is your steering rack.
sorry i dont really answer your inquiry , but if you could share any info will be appreciated.
thanks
Edward
