Thoughts After 3 Weeks
So I have now had my 2011 A4 Premium Plus for 3 weeks now. I love the car but do have a few thoughts:
1. The maps that are loaded in the Nav are at least 2 years old. We have a newer (2 years old) bridge that was built and it is not on the Nav.
2. I miss the power folding mirrors that I had in my 2007 A4.
3. My gas milage has not been all that good. I am averaging about 400Km to a tank. I am not heavy with my foot. Is it just case of the break in period?
4. The MMI is easy to use, but does take some time to learn.
Overall I am so happy! Sorry no pics yet - it will just not stop raining!!

Re: Thoughts After 3 Weeks
I'm averaging 750-780 kms a tank, and that is not much different from break-in results. I'm at 17,000kms now. Not driving with heavy foot either, I would say mostly flat terrain and about 70% highway.

2011 A5 getting 740 per tank. Miss the folding mirrors on my Avant as well. Also the angle down feature on the passenger mirror is useless. Barely moves compared to the A4.

Finally took delivery of my 2011 A4 S-Line last week...2nd tank > 740KLM...3rd tank > 790KLM
My weekend car is a 06 Grand Touring 350Z...totally blown away with the built quality...style and performance of this car!
120klm per hr. > 1800 rpm
130klm per hr. > 2000 rpm...friggin' amazing!!!

Re: Thoughts After 3 Weeks
Using summer gas, in Boston, I just went 468 miles with 14.36 gallons for 32.6 mpg, more highway and back roads than city this time around. I drive conservatively, at 5-10 over the limit and short shifting.
english metric
ratio
miles 468 1.61 753 KM
gallons 14.36 3.79 54.4 liters
MPG 32.6 7.2 liters per 100 km
.
My trip computer predicted 570 miles remaining when the tank was topped up. Oddly it went 60 miles before the remaining distance started to tick down. Last time, it predicted 530 miles, and that was the old normal.
just had dealer do the oil change at 25k. Coupon for $79 was the same cost as for the oil and filter over the counter at NAPA. They reset my idiot light, that Chevy small block orange-line-drawing check engine light, said my gas cap was loose. (Sabotage?) ...And I got to spend a half day driving an A3 loaner and a Mini Cooper S trade in.
I am liking Audi these days.
