When to change timing belt?
Hi all,
On a A4 Quattro 2.0T, when should the timing belt be changed?
80000km?
I got 80000km from the garage, my friend that have an 1.8T tell me the book says 115000km... And the on who sold me the car tell me he find on the web 90000miles (ie 145000km)...
So what is the real answer? Also what is the maximum number of years before changing it even if you did not make the total km's?
Cheers

Re: When to change timing belt?
The manual says 115K... I plan to replace mine as soon as I reach 110K. It could very well last way more then 115K but I don't want to take any chance... I don't think there is a time restriction. I would be surprized if there is one...
