Trip computer functionality reduced in 2008 A4?
Just picked up 2008 A4 2.0T Q SE at the weekend.
Noticed when we got it home that the rocker switch at the end of the wiper stalk is gone (previously we had a 2003 A4). The manual shows it should still be there so that could imply that it has been removed only in the CAD models since the book is US/CAD.
After talking to the dealer, turns out that the previous functionality of the trip computer is gone (average mileage, speed, real-time fuel consumption, etc.). The only thing it displays now is distance to empty.
Not a major disaster but kinda annoyed about that because liked keeping an eye on the other data now and again.
Anyone with a 2007 model can confirm that the rocker switch was still there?
