Swap out stock xenons
Hi, i have stock xenons from audi, they have the feature where they turn according to my steering wheel when i am driving. The xenons are giving me a lot of trouble and i was thinking of swapping them out for an aftermarket kit. but my main concern is if i do swap it out will the turning feature stop working? thank you

Re: Swap out stock xenons
the passanger light keeps flickering and turning off n then i have to turn the lights off n turn them back on until it starts flickering again... sometimes this happens consecutivly in a row and sometimes it doesnt happen at all... the ballast or the bulb is really expensive from audi n therefore i was considering aftermarket but its cheaper to get the whole kit then just a ballast or bulb

Re: Swap out stock xenons
if your going aftermarket go with ddm tuning (DDM Tuning - HID Kits, DEPO Lights, BMW & Porsche Lighting & Bumpers)
I got my 6000k 35watt HID xenons from them and they work great!
Many many audi enthusiast go with them, check out audizine.com for more information.
def check it out, the kits are around $70USD but for some reason there having another crazy sale and the kits are $50. The border fees and taxes when i ordered are like $40 but you end up saving so much considering most aftermarket kits are around $300.

Re: Swap out stock xenons
but will it effect the adaptive lighting that i have now? is the ballast and stuff connected to the adaptive lighting mechanisim or is it seperate so that i can change the stock lights?

Re: Swap out stock xenons
Not sure as mine lights are not adaptive. My thinking is no because you are really only changing the bulb and the blast/wires all go outside the headlight anyway.
