Stupid Seatbelt Alarm
What's up Audi owners,
Sometimes, i'll sit in the car and take my seat belt off while the car is in idle and the stupid seatbelt alarm keeps going on until the seatbelt is put back on. Does anyone know or have removed that stupid sound. I know a VAG is so far the only way, is there an alternative? if not, is there any VAG owners in Toronto and how much a fee would it be to get this annoying sound gone?
Thanks a bunch

I'm not trying to be a wise guy, but if you're sitting there long enough that you want to get more comfortable (take seat belt off) why don't you just turn the car off?

Re: Stupid Seatbelt Alarm
2 minute job for anyone with a genuine Ross Tech or even a knock off ...
To disable the seatbelt chime, go to Instruments (17), Coding, and change the code from 23261 to 23259.

Re: Stupid Seatbelt Alarm
Just buy an eBay cable for 10 bucks and do it yourself. I just bought one and changed my settings for remote control window up and down and cleared a couple codes. It already payed for itself. Go to the Ross-Tech website and go through their Wiki and find out what you do and don't like. Maybe there is more your car is capable of but you just didn't know.
