One option is a sports package that includes a "sport suspension." Tried asking what it was like to no avail. So, anyone know what it is like? Have had a BMW and several saabs (ah yes a few 9000's!). Now have a BMW 520x and would like some input on what the suspension is like please.

 

You really have to drive one yourself as it's all about personal preference. I have sports suspension with 18" tyres on my Avant and I love it. Many folks prefer coilovers as they want a lower ride. I don't because I want be able to drive around "normal" roads for my area and not have to worry about potholes, judder bars and other "obstacles".
