Seatbelt chime

Re: Seatbelt chime
Vag-Com is the easiest and best way I did mine and I get a 4-5 chime when the car has started and then nothing. I found it very annoying as well I find myself sometimes shoping with the wife and its too cold outside or too warm and I am waiting in the car, and the thing just wont shut up and you cant even lay down properly even with the seatbelt on. So I turned mine off because I wear my seatbelt anyways when I drive but during idle etc. It just sucks the nerves and patiance out of you!

Re: Seatbelt chime
If you own a vag-com you can do it yourself, its a simple coding change. If you do not know what a vag-com is check out ross-tech.com I bought mine and it paid for itself pretty much over and over now, and helped many other people too. It can diagnose the entire car which the dealer charges $150 or something everytime. You can clear any infractions in the computer or error codes etc. You can tune your car with a different tunning software and a whole lot more. It is awesome and well worth it. And the dealer will not turn off the seatbelt chime, as it does not meet the canadian Standards as far as i was told here in Alberta. You can also ask people on here probably have a vag-com near you and are very helpfull
