Re: replacing halogen lights with HID
Can anyone please provide a step-by-step install guide?
If I'm purchasing the HID kit from from DDM (Slim Ballast HID Kit), what are the steps involved to get them installed? Is it a straight-forward plug-and-play? Or do you need to drill any holes into the headlamp unit? (please keep in mind that my headlamps are standard Halogen housings, not for HIDs).
Thanks for the help!

Re: replacing halogen lights with HID
Well step by step....
1.undo the 4 bolts that hold the unit in.
2.pull the headlight unit off(undo the one plug on the back)
3.take the old bulb out and put in the new bulb(do NOT let the HID light touch anything!!!)
4. drill a 1 inch hole in the back of the cover that you had to open to get at the bulb. Put the wires though, connect tot he bulb and the light socket.
5.put the light back in the car and your done.
about 30min for both sides.
