My sister has a 07 A4 FWD, she goes down to the states very often and she wanted to see her speed in miles since there are no miles anywhere on the speedometer just km. On my A3 i have a menu I can go through and change the km to miles. In her car i try doing the same but she doesn't have all the buttons on the wiper control to get a menu to change anything. She just has a few button - , + mode, check, 0,00. I tried all of them but nothing. I would think there would be a way for her to display the speed in miles ??

Needs trip computer to change things but it still won't change the display on the speedo.

Best thing is to remember 30 mph =approx 50 km/h; 60 mph =approx 100 km/h.

It's not that difficult a calculation from that point on.

 

Yes you can always do that true. But you would think these cars would all have the ability to switch between miles and km. I read a bunch of other posts and seems like you just cant.

So i guess she will just have to approximate.
