Default New kind of topic for this forum...

Just want to say that my 2006 A4 works beautifully. Bought it in July and have had nothing but a great experience. Brakes are awesome, acceleration is great, the rear-defrost and heated seats are fast as hell.

So for you prospective A4 buyers checking out this forum freaking out at all the "omg..help my 2nd gear isn't working!!!" threads, it's not all bad.

I couldn't be happier.

I'm down with that. I just picked up a loaded '07 S-Line V6 with Tip and Nav that's in awesome condition. The interior is fantastic although coming from an '07 STI that's not hard to do. The interior lighting at night is breath-taking. The AWD is unflappable with winter tires and especially with ESP engaged (although its quite conservative). The front brakes are huge and haul the car down easily. The transmission in Sport mode is great and the rev match on downshift is excellent. Despite what you may think of Bose the sound system is awesome and I think better than the Harman Kardon upgrades in the 3 series. Speaking of sound, the exhaust note of the V6 at wot is both mechanically german and melodious. The adaptive headlights are slick and their operation seamless at speed. The nav integration with the info display in the dash is very cool. The car has no rattles and highway cruising is quiet. Would buy again.

Nice to hear ! Not sure if you're interested in signing up to our local enthusiast group: AudiOttawa... We get together from time to time and rumour has it that the local dealer is working on a "parts program"" for members ...

Cheers.

My 2000 1.8TQ has been damn near bullet-proof in the eight months I've had it. Rear shocks, and one errant CEL. Other than that, everything is original and everything works. 210K km and still going strong.

Most people read bad things about these cars because when people have problems they come to these boards to seek help. People never make, "my car runs great threads".

So good on you, my car runs fantastic too!

ALL vehicles come with good (and bad) aspects...they're somewhat like people- they have their flaws, but we love them anyway...

given a do-over, I'd still buy the '04 Avant 1.8TQ...and may just get me an S4 as well...

Is there a local Audi group in Toronto/GTA anywhere? I haven't seen anything on this forum about it, but it might be nice to actually meet some other Audi owners and their rides.

Audi satisfaction x 2!!!!!

Bought my 2004 A4 1.8T Quattro in Nov 2008.

Same trouble free, full comfort, responsive ride! (one CEL, reset)

Wouldn't trade it for the world!
