Re: new bloke looking for A4 Wagon
Just as an FYI I have a 2008 A4 Avant 2.0T with 6MT, full S-Line sports trim and Audi Canada told me there were only 13 sold with that spec in Canada for the 2008 model year. I suspect the 3.0 variant would be even rarer. I only remember seeing one new 3.0 Avant variant at Capilano Audi during the 2007 model year as an example.
All the best for finding a wagon that meets your specs - when you find it you will love it; i really love ours and the plan is to keep it until it "dies".

Hey bud! (a4audi4fun)
Sorry about the slowest reply ever, couldnt get thru on my iphone for some reason!
But that sounds really great! i would love something super rare, less than 13 sounds insane! i wonder how many of those left would be in good shape and in BC? haha a lot of variants in that equation.
Since posting, ive found that some of the a4s have wider bodies and look fatter and more solid. Are these still an a4? or are they a de bagged s4 wagon?
It give it a much meaner look than the standard body.
I wanna keep with the 3.0 or 3.2 for more reliablility and straight forwardness than that of the 1.8t plus i dont like the turbo lag, and i also think it has better fuel consumption that the s4 and i was reading that the s4 is only great when the rpm is above 4000... cya later fuel consumption!
Anyways i really appreciate the imput and look forward to hearing and learning more about these beautiful cars

You might be seeing an AllRoad which I think is wider, or one of the earlier B6 Avants which in my opinion do look slightly wider due to the shape of their taillights.
