Question MIL light On A4 2007

I went to Mr Lube today to get an oil change, it took them a really long time for some reason at least 3 cars went though while I was getting mine done. They used Castrol Syntec 5W-30. (they used motul 5 40 last time). While i was driving it today i noticed the MIL light was on (steady). It could have been on before the oil change but I'd like to think id notice it.
I am just wondering if there is anyway they caused it? Should I bring it into Audi? Do other mechanics have the right scanner to check the codes?
Thanks for all the help

Try getting a free code reading from your local parts source, it's free why not! Use that information and learn what's going on, it could be a good DIY??

Happy hunting hope that helps
