I hope this is a dumb question
Hi all,
I've been the proud owner of a 2006 A4 Quattro for just over two weeks now and I have what will probably turn out to be a dumb question:
When my rear wheels start to slip on ice or snow I hear a thunking noise coming from somewhere in the rear of the car. My past experience with traction control suggest that this is a normal noise associated with the ABS system working, but I wanted to make sure. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

Re: I hope this is a dumb question
So the noise I'm hearing is actually the EDL using the ABS to limit wheel spin. I guess I did a poor job of describing the noise in my earlier post.
