Default help in ottawa! can't get my front shock assembly in!

Hey,

This is sort of embarrassing but I was doing my suspension today, and I can't for the life of me get my front shock assembly back in. I've taken everything apart, re-assembled the shocks, and now am trying to get it back in place.

However, I can't seem to get the top part to fit! I've tried everything I can think of! I attached the upper control arms, and am trying to push it back up top into place.

I'm wondering if there is anyone in Ottawa that can help me this week! My car is on jack stands in Orleans!

Please let me know! I will throw some money your way for the help!

I'm at a loss for what to do now...

Thanks!

Cheers!

Let me talk to a mechanic; he knows Audi. I will let you know the outcome tomorrow.

Hey,

Here is an update. I've got the front assemblies in ! Finally! However, I broked one of the steering link bolts (wah wah). So I need to get a new bolt tomorrow and back the broken one out.

It's crazy though! I spent ALL day trying to figure it out ... and I tried every orientation I thought possible (apparantly except the correct one). So I went in to eat dinner. Had a refreshed morale and went out to take one last stab. At first it wouldn't budge, but then bam! it sort of fell in place. I couldn't believe it! Then i assembled the rest of the parts! And did the other side in like 20 minutes!

Thanks for looking into it for me! I'll make sure to post anymore questions I have...
