Yeah, which they're paying for.

I was in the market of buying a new A4, but now I'm seriously reconsidering the purchase. I'm not very impressed with the supposed "300-point inspection" they do for the CPO warranty. I've had this car exactly a year and it needs an entire engine rebuild?

So here's the damage:
  • Valve cover replaced
  • Intake cam shaft replaced
  • Rocker arms replaced
  • Chain replaced
  • Tensioner replaced
  • 4 intake ports replaced
  • Entire engine reassembled
  • 45 hours of labour.

Price: $7,000

I bought the Pre Owned warranty. My cost: $100

I am glad it's all done up. I am sure that warranty paid for itself a few times over. Good move.

Don't let this turn you off from the A4 it's a fantastic car.
