I have an error or sign on my dash board, it's a solid circle and small dashed curves on each side of the circle, any idea what is wrong, thanks

 

It's the brake wear indicator.

 

Yep. Brake pad indicator. The indicator is for the front brakes only (or so I've been told by Queensway Audi), and it means that you have around 20% of your pad life left. So nothing urgent, but I suggest you install some new front brake pads within the next 60 days. You also may want to take a look at your rear pads as well.

 

thanks guys, I though so, it's just I used to the old style brake light warnning in my old car

 

Or you could just have a random failure like I do. Seems to come on whenever it feels like it. Quite annoying.

BTW the error codes displayed on the dash are described in your owners manual.
