Car starts with OK in yellow but when "check" 2 items show in RED
Hi folks,
I just bought a 2008 A4 2.0T - unfortunately it did not come with a manual. When I start the car, I get an "OK" in yellow and all is good...but when I press the "check" button, I see the screen below show coolant & oil both in red, after which they disappear - I checked both coolant & oil levels and they are fine, as the car has been serviced by Audi 2k earlier...someone told me the OK needs to display in green, so should I be worried?
Thx

when you press the check button, itll cycle through all the stuff that it normally cycles through anyways when you start the car. If nothing showed up when right when you started the car, except for the OK, youll be fine. And no, the ok doesnt have to be green and the oil and coolant are supposed to be red when they appear. If there was something wrong with your oil or coolant levels, then itll stay on your screen after you cycle it, or like i said, itll appear right after you start your car.

haha i can imagine how worried you were seeing as how you posted the same thing in audizine! :P don't worry, the 08 a4s are solid since they have been updated by audi to address the common issues related to the earlier versions. Just make sure you maintain it well and it wont give you any problems! cheers!
