The turbo looks like the right one.... But it is so similar to the K03 I want to make sure this guy isn't trying to pull a fast one and unloaded a K03 on me. The longer I wait the harder it will be to dispute.
I contacted APR and they said there should be a tag on the turbo, I think I found the spot where it "should" be. But no tag. So trying to figure out any other ways.

APR uses K03 housing and put K04 internals in it. There is no OEM K04 turbo for longitudinal application.
As for the 05-06 problem vs 07-08 model year, it is not the engine that cause problem but the tune. The ECU for 05-06 is not the same as the 07-08 model. APR decided not to build a tune for the 07.
You will probably have to buy a custom tune from an other company like Unitronic. Expect around 700$ for a new tune.
