Default 3M kit

Guys is one of you have any instructions for installing the 3M stuff on the car ? any DIY for that? I would appreciate any help I bought them from eBay but I haven’t installed it yet.

Use rubbing alcohol or high intensity cleaner to clear off the area you are about to apply it to, to clean off dirt etc etc...

try dry fitting into your car first without peeling back the sticky stuff...

Use a solution of a small amount of soap and water and put it in a spray can.

Spray the area well, where you are about to apply the stuff to.

Apply the clear bra and move it around into position... This step will not work if you do not have enough water on it... Spray lots of water and soap in the previous step...

Smooth out the wrinkles with a credit card or other object with an edge (i've used credit cards for applying same stuff onto my phone, for bigger projects I have a fairly soft plastic squeegee)

Push the water with the squeegee to the edge of the clear bra to get rid of the water bubbles.

Do this on a sunny day in + temperatures, so you do not have the water freeze on you as the paint is still moist.

Good Luck!

Excellent instructions! Where do you buy the "invisible bra" from?

you can grab it from ebay or you can buy it from specialty shops on a custom order basis...

When you shop on ebay, go with brand name stuff, like 3M and many others, rather then the ultra cheap junk. It makes sense to pay a bit more, as some of the brandless junk yellows over time and cracks...

Yes for sure wait for the summer to install it , the heat from the sun will help you evaporate any water left under it
