Yellow warning light on dash
2004 A4 3.0 Quattro Wagon - I have a yellow warning light on my dash....it looks like the MIL symbol but has no "check" underneath it or the line going through...don't know what it means or if it is something serious that I should have looked at....help would be appreciated

Re: Yellow warning light on dash
I have been investigating the ignition coil problems that are on a recall....I did get a letter sometime last year I think...don't know where it is now though....something about this being a problem ....I am thinking now that this is what is going on.....a few weeks ago (around the time I noticed the warning light) I could not start the car that morning....it sounded like it was flooded but I had not touched the gas pedal....later that day and ever since the car has started although sometimes a little funny....I guess I will get my local mechanic to check the code and see if that is what it is....if this is the case Audi should be paying for the replacement?

Re: Yellow warning light on dash
If you received a recall letter then just go to Audi dealer and they will change your coils for free.
Since you already there ask to change the spark plugs as well, maybe they won't charge you for labour. As for the codes ask you mech to scan it, he shouldn't charge you for it and it only takes a minute or two

Re: Yellow warning light on dash
Hey folks, new member here. I'm wondering if you guys could offer some help. On my A4 I've got a warning light I can't seem to decipher. It's not in the manual and not in any internet search as well. I've attached a copy of a picture of the warning light. If that doesn't work, I'll post a pic to my profile pic. Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks
