Merging onto the highway this morning, and symbol of the "!" with a triangle around it blinked 3 times, and beeped each time (same beep for 'low gas' warning).

I remember this symbol lightining up when I disable the Traction Control as well (but no beeping, or flashing).

Has this happended to anyone? Is my car about to explode or fall apart?

It's been parked since I got into the office this morning.

Aside - the "Check Engine" light has been going off and on recently.

I plan to take it into the garage next week, but wanted to hear some feedback first.

when you spine the tires that light will come on....as for the check engine light it might be as little as the O2 sensor.....

 

i also would not let your car run low on gas...thats when you suck up all the crap in the tank!!!!fing up your O2 sensor, cat and your injectors....run some injectos cleaner or Zmax in your oil and gas.
