contisport3's, falken 452's, good year gsd3 are all good choices, if you are willing to spend more money, michelin ps2's are probably the top choice.

Falken RT615's own.

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
235/45-17 4.2in 12.7in 25.3in 79.6in 796 0.0%
245/40-18 3.9in 12.9in 25.7in 80.8in 784 1.5%

There will be a 1.5% difference in your speedometer. Usually anything 5% or lower is barely noticable when it comes to speedometer reading. You will actually be showing slower then youre actually going... so... 60km on the cluster would be... 54km that youre actually moving.

Tire size calculator if anyone needs it for further reference.

I think it's the other way around: if cluster shows 60, he'd be going at ~66 instead.

I like my Sumitomos, especially considering the low cost.

I have Kumho Ecsta SPT's in a 245/35/19 and they're a little loud. I don't know if it's because they're so thin or because they have a poor design. My brother has the Falken FK452's on his BMW and he loves them. The Michellin PS2's are the best but you do certainly pay for them.
