i have a question which i posted earlier as well.. i will just post the previous post..
"the tires i currently have on my car say 225/45-17 .. do you think the guy before me had the wrong tires on because when i select 2004 A4 1.8T on tirerack.com it shows the size for that car to be 235/45-17"
is there a huge different in 225 and 235? can you please help me understand

Not a huge difference between the 225's and 235's but OEM 18's come with 235's. The narrower tire will be a bit smaller in diameter (1 mph difference at 60 MPH). The narrower tire will be lighter but provide less rim protection and not quite as much grip.
