No no...something of a daily driver and something that has the extra umpffffffff...

So an S4 vs A4 has that nice kick but It would be a B7 and to get a supercharger for that car would have to wait a while. Might upgrade later to RS4? not 100% sure

I really like the S5 but dont wanna spend 60 G's on it

every other day? aww...the V8 isn't THAT bad. (but it ain't too good either)

I average 430km per 62 litre tank

on the weekend I drove 500km all highway at 125 and have about 20km left according to the computer.

When I first got the car I put 550km on one tank while driving it home from Georgia. I did a steady 80mph (also 130) and didn't run the air conditioner for that.

Now go get that S4!

 

if fuel economy is your first priority and if you use your car a lot S4 would be out of the question... just my opinion

 

Any luck with a car yet 1move? I say me and rutman are on right track with the a5 3.2. This way its somewhat efficient. good luck man. Take some time and you will get exactly what you want.

 

Well my purchase date / month that is ideal for me would be April / May, and I am really wanting a 4 door car since I am 24 the 2 door just wont cut it with insurance and I am planing on keeping it a while so that means kids... the S5 is really nice but the s4 / rs4 are way more appealing to me. I went and test drove a S4 in Las Vegas thanks to a friend who I purchesed parts and things from before and I loved it it was fully loaded and it had only 260 miles on it and it just took my breath away. I also recently got into a b6 S4 and it is the same car except for the looks and the exhaust. But B7 looks nicer in my opinion I am hoping that the gas prices in may affect the V8 and it drops down in price a bit but also at the same time the B8's come out and the value of the B7's will drop which leans me more towards a B7....S4 or RS4...however RS4 is a beast and maybe a bit too much trouble for now. I will keep you posted

 

S4 is an awsome car, and the 4.2 non turbo is probrably more reliable, as far and engine goes. Gas is supposed to be 1.00 by christmas, so it's something to consider, also you can put a price on gas but can you put a price on the time wasted getting places? (besides the cost of the fuel) The s4, would definately cut that time down lol

 

Have you test driven a Stage 3 B5 S4

 

LOL all about the B5's well... I have not... if you know me as a person I like to go fast and after I mod that thing the reaility is I would probably die. My top speed so far is 334km/h yes 334... in a Porsche but anyways dont mean to brag but I am looking for something new-er than a B5 so that is out of the question... again the reliability also the V8 is runing on engine alone and the b5's mostly run the higher end power from the turbos which is a huge maintenance issue in my mind because you got 2 to replace those $5000 roughly so i want to stay away from that
