First, thanks to 1move, akula-ssh and marko-tomas13 for answering my last post. Now I would like to know, how often it has to be change. It did not tell from the owners manual.

Re: changing cabin air filter
The only thing with this is that if you drive a lot on dusty country roads or you see the filter getting clogged up a little sooner then its worth changing it. It isn't expensive and its a quick 5 min job so I say change it when it gets clogged, that will depend a lot on how much and where you drive.

Here's my audizine DIY:
DIY: B6 A4 - Cabin Air Filter (Pollen Filter) - Audizine
IMO needs to be done more than every 50,000 km, esp if you have the activated carbon type.

Re: changing cabin air filter
marcj just posted a great DIY above that, it may be a little different depending on your model but the general location and procedure is similar.

Re: changing cabin air filter
Thanks for the DIY. I had the filter changed the day after I bought the car...I'm a lot more educated on servicing my Audi. I found a great mechanic, and knowledgeable communities such Audiforum have been a great help.
