The quietest windshield wiper blades for my A4
The wiper blades that came with my used 2005 audi a4 avant are awful. They clean the windshield great but they are REALLY noisy. The chatter is louder than my stereo turned up. Unless it is a full on torrential downpour these wiper blades drive me nuts.
Since I live in Rain-couver this is going to be a problem.
What does everyone use?

You can get bosch from pg performance or try the rain x. I have rain x wipers on my car that i got from wal-mart and they are very good and quiet. They are the thicker ones and cost $19.xx each.

Those OEM Bosch ones are utter crap. I just picked up a pair, 2 weeks and they started acting up.
I buy all of mine from Valeo from the Tirerack. Lasts me 8 months - they're still quiet, but I get tiny tiny little bits of water after the wipe (rubber degregation).
Mind you, I use paint sealant on the car (same price as a wax but the amino tyrosine bond lasts longer) - so some of it ends up on the windshield (rain), so it likes to destroy wiper blades.

On the newer Audis the wiper arm is made for OEM only, I have not seen any wiper blades yet that are made to fit the OEM bracket other then Valeo. Aero makes a kit to replace the arm to standard and then from there you can pick and choose.

I just bought OEM wipers and they are nice and quiet. Wipes very well too.
The thing is it may not be the wipers' fault. It could be because of your windshield has too much contaminants on it. I use "No Touch Auto Glass Stripper" to clean up the windshield and it makes a huge difference.
