Default PRNDS Flashing!!

hey guys,

help me out here if anyone has any clue,

ive had this car for 2 1/2 years now, bought it with 119,000km and now have 204,000km on it. Timing belt and tensioners, water pump has been replaced @ 145km, oil changes done regularly (7000km), coil packs under warranty also, faulty TCU has also been replaced so up to my research nothing else was really going wrong with the B6 CVT trannys,

So yesterday the PRNDS starts flashing after a day of driving in the city. it rightaway freaks me out cause i know AUDI told me that if it does that that means something is wrong with the transmission. Now the weird thing is that the Engine light isnt on and the car is driving just like always.

anybody have any ideas?? i will also call Audi Winnipeg later too.

Yes If they are not major codes they would still get stored and show up as well.

ok sounds good,

looks like i should invest into getting the equipment to scan for codes! dont want to drive 100km to the next Audi Dealer and pay $120 just for scanning

OK so i had it scanned while getting my summer tires and rims put on, it was cylinder 3 misfire. he cleared the code, it hasnt come back on and that was about 1 month ago already. thinking of replacing spark plugs this spring anyways so that should help, he said that it might have come on from starting the car when it wasnt plugged in during work in our manitoba winter.
