Default Is it possible to wear out brakes in 30K's

Hi Guys,

I just had my Worn Brake Pad symbol come on. I just had all of my brakes fully replaced Pads & Rotors in the summer of 07. Since then I've put 30K's on the car and around 50% of this driving is highway. It is possible to wear out brakes this fast, or could I have a brake pad sensor problem?

Its possible that your brake pads were not spaced correctly and simply braked the entire time , and yes it is possible I have replaced pads after 15k I dont know if thats something to be proud of but **** happens my friend.

Wow, I've never seen brakes were out so fast. Do you think I should go back to Queensway Audi and complain about the brake job they did. Is it even possible for me to determine if the pads were not spaced correctly?

Perhaps look at your front pad thickness. There should be ALOT of pad left as the wear sensors are set to trip early. Mileage is a factor but Brake lifetime really depends on how hard they are used.

I took a look and they're down to around a 1/2 inch. Considering that I replaced the rotors with my last brake job do you guys think I'll (Most likely) just need pads?
