Default p0431 CEL ~ help!

Hi guys:

I've been having this p0431 code for weeks, everytime I cleared it, it will come back in few days.

Now there is definitely sth wrong with either cat or o2 sensors,

I know there is federal law for emission warranty up to 80k miles in US (free of charge to replace cat)

Im just wondering, does Canada have the similiar thing?
like extended emission warranty including cat.

thanks!!

Yes, Audi Canada does warranty "Cat efficiency below threshold" but they need to diagnose your car to be certain that it is the cat. If it's an O2 (mostly likely post cat), you're SOL. Call your Audi dealer and they will help you out.

thanks!!

I called one of the local audi dealer, they said my 2002 a4 cats are not covered by warranty.

However,
I just called audi canada, the representative said our emission control warranty is 8 years / 80000 miles which ever comes first.
